WLCI Fashion School – Student Review

The graduating batch of Fashion Technology was asked to talk about the highly acclaimed show that would showcase their learning to the world. This is a part of their curriculum to enrich their experience and to give them the confidence to lay their designs in front of the industry leaders.

The entire experience leading up to the day of the show is highly rewarding to the students as it teaches them. The learning they gain from organizing a show, conceptualizing the idea and producing the garment cannot be taught inside the walls of a classroom. That is why WLCI College encourages them to venture out and explore.

Students are exposed to all avenues of the Apparel and Fashion Industry. From factory visits to interning with leading designers, WLCI students have seen it all. One such student is Ms. Yanam Wahge, she was asked to share her thoughts about the highly coveted Fashion Show of WLCI College. In her words :-

“ Showcasing my talent is intimidating and exciting at the same time. Creating something out of the idea in your head and then being judged by other people is scary but the fact that people are going to touch, feel and see the idea right in front of them, It’s pretty amazing if you think about it. I would like to thank WLCI School of Fashion for the opportunity ! ”
