Feedback of WLC College on Amitabh Bachchan’s Life

Amitabh Bachchan – Style Icon and Emperor of Bollywood.

He truly revolutionized Indian Cinema and today WLC College celebrates this prodigy. Born in Allahabad in the house of a renowned poet Mr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan, he belonged to a Punjabi Sikh family.

Amitabh literally means “the light that will never die”.

He made his debut in the film fraternity as a voice narrator back in 1969 with Bhuvan Shome a National Award Winning movie. Amitabh’s work in the movie Zanjeer, released in 1973, got him the  title - Angry Young Man. His dominance during the 1970’s and 80’s awarded him the title - One Man Industry by French director François Truffaut.

WLC College would like to wish this living legend a very Happy Birthday!
