WLCI College
does involve students in Projects. But, unlike other colleges who limit the
exposure to Institute level, wherein they provide the topics. WLC College India
encourages the students to participate in third party projects.
In other
words, foundations and entities approach WLCI to explore the new talents. Our
Design students, for example were involved in a project for the Embassy of
France. They were to design posters and collaterals for Project ‘Lire En Fete’
initiated by the French Cultural Center, French Embassy.
The students
were from our Delhi Campus - Neeraj Lohchab, Ankur Garg and Hari Sharan. Of the
three only one was selected to participate in a 7 day workshop with Nathalie
Novie. This eminent French Illustrator mentored our student Neeraj for 7 days.
This type of
a live project is a regular occurrence at WLCI College India across all
verticals, that is – Business, Fashion, Advertising and Graphic Design. Such a
concept was adapted to give the students a real world feel. So that, they can
learn the trade with practical knowledge.
