WLC College India’s Fashion Department has listed the top
trends for upcoming season – Autumn Winter 2014. Trend forecasting is part of
the curriculum in the Fashion Technology course at WLCI School of Fashion. Students are encouraged to
participate in fashion predictions to better prepare them for a successful
designing future.
With the hot summer months coming to an end it’s time to pack
up our shorts and look for warmer options. Here are the must have trends for
A/W 2014, stock up your wardrobe Fashion-ista’s !
- It’s time to get fuzzy – Bring on the fuzz this season with faux fur and feather embellishments on coats, scarves, handbags, head gears and just about anywhere.
- Take inspiration from your favorite fairy tale and live like a princess. With cuts and fabric one can feel like royalty in a maxi dress this season.
- Quilt it – Giving a comforter look to your wardrobe will not only keep you warm but also in vogue. Go for quilted jackets and sleeves.
- 60’s fashion era seems to be the motivation for this season.
- Go for nature inspired fabrics paired with masculine tailoring for structure and edge.
- Patchwork and monastic textures can keep you at the top of the fashion world.
- Pair your outfits with a belted waist look to show off your curves over all the thick clothes.
